I want to start by saying a big thank you! Although I'm new to this and never posted I read so many posts on a daily basis.
So last year we started on our journey. My partner was diagnosed with azoospermia (no sperm). I also have an underactive thyroid. It took quite a while to get our heads around what this meant for us. When we were just coming to terms with this. During our first consultation last week I'll got told that I have low ovarian reserve. This knocked me for six! It seems we both have problems. We are wondering where to turn and considering private clinics in London. I was just hoping there maybe some people out there who can offer some advice and support. Thank you xx

My partner was diagnosed with azoospermia last year. He did a lot of life changes and amazingly things did improve. We have just had our first cycle with icsi and we are on our 2ww. I would definitely research in to different clinics and what they would do. Xx
Thanks so much for the responses it feels like a lovely and daunting place at the moment!
Katrina best of luck with the 2ww. How are you?
Leesalou sorry to hear about the first round.
We have been referred onto Homerton via the NHS but we don't want to wait my DP is 53 now and I'm 36 next month so we have opted for private. We considered LWC at Harley St. Due to my FSH I am aware some places won't treat us. We are considering Lister.
It is long winded on the NHS it's taken me a year to get where I am, lwc is lovely ever so friendly, they have different branches and they do 3 package which is only slightly more expensive than 1 cycle of it, good luck xx
All over the place to be honest and very tearful. I hope you find a clinic soon that can help xx
Hi NMP welcome to the forum ask away with all your questions as you are bound to find others in the same situation who can offer guidance and support.
At the age of 31 I too was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve and it totally knocked me too and has taken me quite some time to a just to the news. I was lucky that I just passed the nhs guidelines and am due to ivf very soon. In the meantime I have been reading and doing all that I can to get my body in the best shape as there are some theories that suggest that we can have an impact on our egg quality. A few of the girls on here including myself have read it 'starts with the egg' by rebecca frett who offers a list of vitimins and suppliments that may be beneficial for egg quality and ivf treatment along with looking at how everyday products can be harmful and impact our hormonal balance so Im following the book as much as I can to give myself the best chance. I've also stopped drinking and reduced my sugar intake and trying to eat as clean as possible. I'm so doing acupuncture too and after I made all these changes after about 4 months I did fall pregnant naturally unfortunately I went onto mc but I do believe that the changes had some impact and hoping for postive results with the ivf too.
I'm not able to help on the male side of things but I'm sure you will find others here who can help.
I'm sure there will be a clinic in london who can best advise you on the best treatment available for you, sorry not able to help with clinic names But I'm sure there will be some ladies on here who will be able to help xxx
I was 33 when I discovered I had a low ovarian reserve with poor quality eggs. Welcome to the forum. It will be a constant support to you. I discovered the other day that it's also helped me find my love for writing. I feel I can write here what I'd love to blog about. This is a safe place where it's possible to lose your mind and not be judged!
Take time to consider what your next step will be. Don't rush it. Follow other women who have similar issues and ask lots of questions xxx
Katrina I am sorry to hear you are struggling. Take care I'm sending you lots of hugs and baby dust.

Emu2016 I am pleased to hear that you have discovered something positive in this crazy journey. I feel like I've already gone crazy on a few occasions I'm feeling happier to have some of the benefits of this place.
Thanks to all for responding to my post. It's made me feel less alone and a tad less insane.
