I've just got back from my scan and I have a feeling I'm a bit behind from where the nurse wanted me to be. I have 18 follicles but 7 of them are <10mm, 5 are 10mm, 2x11mm, 1x12mm and 3x13mm.
I'm a bit worried that the 12 that are 10mm and less are basically lost causes and that I'm therefore only left with 6 that might grow to be big enough.
I guess I've only had 5 days of growing so far (i'm on day 6 of injections) and so only half way through so I'm hoping that they're all going to catch up soon.
Does anyone know if this is an ok position to be in at the moment? Hoping you will all tell me that they will magically grow to double their size by Monday!!

They should grow 1-2mm a day and I read after trigger it's 2-4mm a day.
I had the same type of measurements my first scan from 14 to 9mm. You should be happy you have a group growing together. I have a front runner 3mm ahead of all the rest and hoping the others catch up. Seriously this is good and on track. Suprised the nurse didn't reassure you.
On my last scan I was 20 17 14 13 11 11 and then two more at 9mm turned up for the count. Took my trigger last night and ec tomorrow. Had 12days of stims total. X
Thanks Emma. You have made me feel much better! I think I was just thrown by the number of 'x's in the scatterplot that were below 10. She did try to reassure me, but she did it in a way that came across as if it wasn't great news and she was trying to make me feel better! Prob me overreacting...hormones!
Wishing you lots of luck for your egg collection tomorrow. Will be looking out for you to see how you get on. xx
If I find out how much they've grown I will let you know. I was interested to know if they were going to let my front runner over mature to ensure they get the next lot that are growing together. But they decided not to. She said they look at anything over 14mm for collection so I'm hoping for six to make it for tomorrow. Remember they can keep you on stims a bit longer aswell.
Just going off to down a litre of full fat milk lol x
thanks lovely! Just need to keep quality not quantity in mind like you say. If its 14mm and above that they look at it sounds like you've got a great shot for a good number of eggs.
Oh gosh I am so sick of drinking milk haha!! and eating nuts!! cant wait to binge on a load of junk food once this is all over...hopefully in 9 months time
Do let me know how tomorrow goes, will be thinking of you and fingers crossed for a good result xx
Haha so true!!!! I asked the nurse today 'what can I do to help them grow' and would have done anything and she said 'nothing'! 🤔 She did give me the go ahead for protein shakes though so I'm trying those next xxx
They are so expensive those shakes. I had a Sainsburys one which wasn't too bad. Was in the pharmacy aisle and not chilled. Are we supposed to be eating pineapple?? I have six on the counter in the kitchen and the builder was astonished. At least they are only 50p at Asda.
Haha 6?!! That's a brilliant effort! I only have one at the moment plus a bowl full of avocados. I've def heard that pineapple core in particular is meant to help implantation. A US forum I was reading recently also suggested grapefruit juice so I've got that ready too 😂
