Am I just seeing what I want to believe? Or is there really something there?

Morning ladies. Just been through our first ivf cycle after 8 years of trying for baby. Test day isn't till next weekend but we are far to impatient and bought the tests in bulk so have many lying about. So we took this test this morning and I'm sure I can see something which I have never had before. The camera struggled to pick up what i can see but after adjusting the contrast it shows up a little. What do you think?

I know with mine that they look darker in real life than on the photo too. Also yesterday my second test was darker than my first wee for some reason, so maybe do another one. I did three yesterday haha. But also read the instructions today and realised I've not dipped my test in my cup of wee long enough!! 🤪 But there was still a line. And they say a line is a positive, even if it's faint!

My otd is not til next Saturday and I've already become obsessive!! Good luck 💙

Mine was lighter today, but I think that's because I only dipped it for five seconds and it says to dip for 20 seconds lol. But then I did that yesterday too!! I am literally over analysing everything right now... I bought the first response test yesterday because everyone says they're really good and did a test in the afternoon and the line was quite dark, so all tests are different.

I've got my fingers crossed for you. I'd say that if there's a line, it's positive 😁

I did my transfer last Saturday and so currently 8dp5dt. Is your test date next Saturday too? Xx

Yeah my transfer was last Saturday also so test date is saturday. I've been looking out for any sort of sign but being on the progesterone persaries the side effects are the same as signs of implantation/pregnancy. Only thing I've had that I don't think are side effects is a small cramping feeling occasionally the last 2 days.

I'm back to work tomorrow so at least I'll be distracted for a bit.

I have felt like my period is coming all week and I'm still bloated. My boobs hurt, then they're fine and then they hurt again!! And I had a cramping feeling below my belly button twice! The progesterone I think plays a massive part in all this.

Fingers crossed for us that we have a definite BFP for next Saturday! I might ring them on the Friday though, because I doubt I'll be able to speak to anyone Saturday and I don't want to have to wait a further two days lol. This 2ww is already torture!! 💙

It's hard to see a second line - BUT if there is ANY line - no matter HOW FAINT - it is a positive!!!! I think it's safe to say congrats!!! This happened to me too - the second line was barely there - and I mean *barely*. The next day I took another test and it was darker. Really happy for you guys!

We got a positive from the hospital today as I had to go in early for hyper stimulation with the IVF. Cant believe it. We are so excited they've already booked a scan for 3 weeks today.
