silly question can you take paracetmol on buserlin

hello im on day ten of buserlin and ive got headache had it all night. sounds silly but i wasnt sure if i could take paracetmol or not. thank you xx

hi kirst, I would double check but I'm pretty sure paracetamol is fine but not ibuprofen. Hope you feel better soon 😊 xx

i phoned them they said its ok but keep eye on how long it lasts. x didnt have any problems with buserlin last time.

Its no problem. Ibuprofen is ok too until ET.

I was told no Ibuprofen at all through my cycle and I had some truly awful headaches on Buserelin. Paracetamol, drink plenty of water. I tried everything to get rid of my headaches including CoCodamol, Olbas oil rubbed in my forehead and even migraine relief strips but in the end what helped was the pain relief AND lying still with a hot water bottle on my head! It eased it a lot 😊

Hi kirst12. Not a silly question at all! Yes, it's quite safe to take paracetamol up to 8 in 24 hours 4-6 hours apart. No anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope you soon feel better. diane

feeling much better now although still no period on buserlin yet was suppose to go for scan and bloods today to see if i can start menopur but not yet got to give it til monday and ring again if still not on. is it normal to sometimes not bleed when on buserlin. i normally on constantly with very little time off and this is total opposite for me.
