Heyy lovely ladies hope you are well and happy 😍😍😍

I just had my follow up consultation after my cancelled cycle due to nothing to transfer. Turned out eggs and sperm were fine just no luck with fertilisation and what they thought was a cyst turned put to be a follicle with an egg in it. So is all good and i can start second cycle soon. I have nurse consultation on the 26th this month and yayyyy soo excited to start over.

I will be on short protocol again just my meds will be increased a bit. I was just wondering will i start stims straight away or i will have to start first with Norethisterone again? I forgot to ask yesterday xx

I thought short protocol meant without downregging, so if that's right you'd go straight to stims at the start of your next cycle. That's how mine was, anyway. So pleased you're able to crack on with it fairly quickly and best of luck next time around xxx

I thought the same but they put me on Norethisterone for 10 days to make sure my period comes. Can't wait to start really. I feel good mentality and physically (thank God for that). Thank you so much! Hope is all good with you 😊xxx

Im really sorry for maybe a stupid question but why they were not happy with 4 eggs? Was it the quality? Or they didn't fertilize? Xxx

Hello. Unfortunately my AMH levels are quite low so they said at the start of our treatment they wanted to get at least six eggs and they would put me through stimulation if they didn’t get this. Two of our four eggs fertilised and have now been frozen but they wanted me to go through stimulation to get more before trying a transfer. xx

I can’t believe that was only 10 days ago! Still blooming waiting on AF, no Sperm in the clinic it turns up like clockwork and as soon as we have Sperm safely in the freezer, AF a week late 😩.

Oh well, can’t be helped, maybe my fertility yoga class tonight will help xx

I’m doing well, we finally got the green light yesterday to start our 1st ivf cycle. So I’m 2 injections in now. Early days. Xx

Awh this is brilliant, you must be so excited & relieved! For my 1st cycle I was on norethisterone but not for my next cycle. I don’t know why? It’s great you can get your nurses appointment so quickly! best of luck lovely Xx

My consultant didn't mention Norethisterone so maybe no need to use it this time.
