So after last weeks fright.... we ended up going to our clinic today, although we are 5 weeks, we wanted to get things checked out, after the bled last week
During the scan we were able to see a "pregnancy sac with yolk", phew! Thank god all was ok, we were so delighted!
On the flip side if this news.... ( those that follow may know, we had to embies out in due to wife's age etc), they were not able to find the second sac.
Sadly, we will never know, when this may have faded away but I think maybe last week. Anyways feel we are blessed enough to still have a fighter and all our efforts will be to protect, love, and serve till end of time.

Lets hope that the little embie is a fighter and stays along
Yes I bet it was very stressful but hopefully seeing that little fighter has made it more real for you and you can now relax a little. Yeah im getting there AF has certainly arrived it's horrible, and very painful 😢
So glad all was ok with that little one, and hopefully it keeps fighting. Sorry to hear about the other one but it sounds like you have a great positive attitude. Lots of luck for a continued healthy pregnancy x
Many thanks Georgina, I guess I hindsight it has ( hopefully) paid if putting two embies in. It's sad to know that one didn't mate it but hey there was always that chance and we had to be preoared for that ( even though you try to be, you still hold on to that hope). We will continue ( with all you guys supporting) to carry on this journey with our fighter. In a few weeks, the scan will be totally different I'm sure and have more detail
Thanks again
That's great news I have been thinking about you both xxx
I somehow missed your scare with my sporadic link up to the site while we were in Greece.sorry u had to go thru that .glad to hear that your scan was reassuring albeit sad that it looks like one of your embies may have faded away.very good that u r focussing on the positive tho and u have your little fighter going strong xxx
Great news - I understand the feeling of loss for the second one as we had the same - but nature has its ways and therefore the stronger one will survive which is great as it has a lot of growing to do! Wish you all the best on this crazy journey! X
Hi Sipidania, it warms the sole to know we have a fighter... I thank you kindly for your wishes. I guess as we all go through this journey ( and unlike an ordinary conception), we are somewhat spoilt for choice, so we often get dissapionted but at the same time, we should all count our blessings and believe " this is what is written for us".
We will continue to be positive be and hope for the best outcome. Thank you once again.
I've just seen this, I'm so glad you got the scan and it's given you some comfort. Not long until your next scan and then it will be the big one and you can settle a little more. Sending love x
