Hot water bottle???

So I've now got 3 days to grow my follies, I'm on the max dose of drugs.. so can't go any higher. Is a hot water bottle advisable? If so how long and when during the day? I have x2 injections in the morning and X1 night. Any other advice would be welcomed...x

I only injected on a night two x injections but I used a hot water bottle for about an hour after I did them and I also drank a lot of milk as I heard that helped too! Hopefully other people will tell you their experiences too 😊 some of mine doubles from day 7- 11 x

Hi KeeKee - I used the hot water bottle right up until ET (I took it into the hospital with me!). Like Laura3101 says drink plenty of milk. My nurse has recommended one pint of full fat organic milk a day (yikes!). Come on follies!!! x x x

Heat to keep your tummy nice and warm whenever you can, lots of full fat milk and up your protein intake if you haven't done so already - mine doubled in two days when I did that! Just back from D5 transfer this morning - one AA and one BA, and 1-2 to freeze - and the 2ww wait has begun...

They are amazing results, I brought the milk yesterday it gave me an upset stomach, but I'll persevere with it as my body just not used to it. I've been having meat everyday, Brazil nuts and plenty on fruit. Using the hot water bottle for a few hours every evening. Thanks for your advice.xx

One more thing - if you think you are reacting to milk, I'd propose to buy Lactofree from Arla (fresh of course, no pasteurised milk) / it has all the benefits of cows milk without lactose, which can cause irritation even if you're not lactose intolerant .. good luck and fingers crossed! xoxo

I used my hot water bottle lots and upped my protein intake so lots of milk, shakes and hard boiled eggs! My second cycle was better for this. Good luck xx

Hey, I've just written a quick post as I asked the nurse today at my tracking scan about using a hot water bottle and she advised against using it on your tummy, back only. Apparently the follies and eggs want to be at your normal body temperature but if you want the comfort of a bottle then wrapped in a towel against your lower back was her recommendation x
