Endo scratch tomorrow morning and I'm feeling quite anxious. Is there anything I need to know? Any advice? How long will it take? Will it hurt? I've got some CoCodamol; how long before the procedure should I take these? Half hour? One hour? All support appreciated πŸ˜…

That sounds doable! I'm a bit concerned when you say that you were 'one of the lucky ones' though lol x

I had the same concerns as you as was scared to death, others had said it was very painful etc. I told the nurse how scared I was but she talked me through everything and for me it wasnt a bad experience and yes defo doable. I just keep thinking if I do ever get pregnant childbirth has to be like a million times worst πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Good luck let us know how you get on xx

I took 2 X paracetamol an hour before as well. Took about same time as a smear. Not going to lie it bloody stung, but was over quickly and had no pain post it. Hopefully will all be worth it for you. X

You can do it. None of these things are nice but honestly it's not as bad as our head tells us it will be. I remember getting into a state and almost crying before I went in worrying about the pain but it was fine. Uncomfortable yes, not something you'd want to do every day but worth it if it helps get your BFP. Good luck xxx

Thank you so much. I fear I will be in a bit of a state, roll on tomorrow afternoon lol. When I think about how far I've come on this journey....... I know I should be proud of myself really; I've been tougher than I thought and I know tomorrow is just another hurdle that I'll get over one way or another x

Exactly, you are brave and strong and this time tomorrow it will be all over. Try to stay calm before hand as it is easy to let your thoughts and fears run away with you. Good luck xxx

By now I'm sure your awaiting to go in.......Wishing you the very best. Your so so brave and admire that for anyone going through this... couple months back my wife went on fur a Removal of a pylop ( she under went this without any GA which was incrediable), I was in the theatre with her but at the same time they did a scratch to increase our chances. She was so brace throughout, although they wer happy to stop at any point if she was in too much discomfort.

We should be having FET next week but in the end all went well, please keep us all updated. Remain pusutuve and calm, and keep telling yourself, your a brace brace eonen and you can do this.

Wishing you the very best
