Day Of Endo Scratch

Morning everyone! Awake already with nerves about the scratch procedure today. I am going alone as we can't afford for my husband to have the day off work. Worried about the pain but it will be worth it if it helps improve our chances. Do I need to man up or is this normal ha?! I'm gonna take two co-codamol beforehand so hopefully that will help...! 😒 xx

I was really nervous before both of mine but honestly there not to bad, a little uncomfortable like a smear but over quite quickly. My husband wasn’t allowed in the room with me so I was glad he didn’t take any time off to come too. The pain relief should help, take it about an hr before, lots of luck xx

Thank you :) xx

You’re so normal, it’s natural to worry especially if you’ve never had it before. I found it uncomfortable, but I would have it again, so it couldn’t have been that bad. Us women are so strong, we can get through so much. Good luck today hun xx

I was nervous but unnecessarily so. I went alone and was out in 10 minutes from the whole appointment. Lasts seconds. I took paracetamol an hour before. I didn't think it was as bad as a smear but perhaps because I'd built it up in my mind it really wasn't that bad. I got a BFP this cycle so I'm all for them and would have it done again without a doubt. It's no where near as bad as egg collection or even having a full bladder and having embryo transfer. x

I had one that was ok, one that hurt more but I’ll have it done again for my next fet. It’s usually over very quickly. You’ll be fine 💪🏻 xx

I am a massive wimp when it comes to procedures. I had acupuncture in the morning before my scratch & then I focused on my breathing throughout the procedure. Meditating was a great distraction during it. It won't take to long so keep breathing. Xx
