I was advised to drink a large quantity of milk to prepare my body to icsi but im suffering from a severe diarrhea and im afraid that my body is not absorbing the other vitamins.
Did anyone experience this and what to do ?!
Thanks in advance

Hi Sassa, that is very strange advice - I am not aware of any scientific evidence that milk does anything specific - so I would say don't panic and don't drink too much! Neither my NHS consultant or my private one suggested anything other than keep a healthy diet with a good amount of protein (so milk helps with that) but it's not the only source! Good luck!
Hi, I know some clinics advise to drink a lot of milk but lots of other clinics (like mine) don't. I would say so what feels right to you, I certainly wouldn't drink milk if I had any upset stomach or diarrhoea, I think it can make it worse! But then I'm not a big fan of milk anyway. I hope your diarrhoea will be gone soon!! Xx
Yes some clinic does advice u to have a lot of milk as it s a great source of property which is supposed to help d eggs grow during stimming. But everybody is different if it doesn't suit ur tummy then I would stop it and have other forms of protein like egg whites fish and chicken or any other lean meat that u fancy but less oil and spices.
Have you tried almond / hemp milk . I can't drink normal cows milk as react too so was recommended by both a nutritionist and acupuncturist to take a whey protein
