Hi Priz... hope EC went well. Try coconut water (not from concentrate) too, that's supposed to help. Good luck for your 2ww x x x

Cool will give coconut water a go. Have frozen transfer as need to have a polyp removed, but all the more for me to eat healthy and get ready x

Hey MommaBear......EC went well ( as you may have guessed.... "Priz" is my wife.... I joined the group to give her support and research as much as I could to help her through this). They collect 9. We got a call on Friday to say 7 had fertilised well and the generally expect 65/75% of fertilisation during the ICSI process but we wer close to 80%.

Therefore the embrlogist said they will call with an update of developments on Sunday....( longest 1.5 days wait ever lol). Fingers crossed all will be ok.

Thanks for the advise

Hi Priz. You poor love! One of the worst things you can suffer from! However, I think that your safest bet is to try something like “Fybogel” which is a bulking agent for constipation, and will soften your stools, so that they are easier to pass. If you do get “bunged up, and you prefer something in tablet form, “Senokot” would be your safest best or "Lactulose" which is liquid. If all else fails, you will have to see your GP. Obviously keep up with the water too. Hope it soon gets back to normal. Diane

Hi Priz. I think that's the best option at this stage. It's a drink and doesn't taste too bad. Diane

I was completely constipated for 3 days!! I drank loads of homemade fruit smoothies with lots of orange in and just waited for it to pass. Sure enough 3 days later I was able to go! I'm 4dp2dt still only have a bowel movement once every other day or so but I think it's down to all the medicines we are on and have been injecting! X
