I’ve have my egg collection today. Got 6 eggs, I had lots of follicles so we expected a fee more but it only takes 1 and focusing on that. My husband didn’t produce a sample today so eggs are being frozen so that they have both to use together. Can anyone tell me if I can freeze embryos if the eggs and sperm have already been frozen.
Thanks

Hi Mgibbs. yes, of course. If you could go through another round of stimlation and perhaps proceed to ICSI if there is an issue with your husband's sperm, you will be able to storer any viable embryos. acheck with the protocol set up by your CCG just to make sure, if you arfe having NHS treatment. Good luck! Diane
Thanks. It’s self funded and it was going to be ICSI freeze all. So time frame wise I’m hoping the same only thing different will be starting using frozen egg and sperm rather than frozen embryos.
I had 13 follicles, only 6 eggs retrieved (we were surprised and sad)... apparently this happens but is unlikely to happen again If you do IVF again... 5 fertilized, 2 day 5/6 blastocysts, both were PGD normal, first transfer didn’t work but I’m 10 weeks pregnant with the second!!! Hold our hope, it’s not over! It’s totally possible those were your best 6 eggs (that’s what my doc told me was likely and he was right)!!
