Hi lovely ladies i had my hsg a couple of days ago and the dr said she will post me the tablets i dont understand what she ment by that i didnt pay attenion as i was in a bit of pain aftrr the procedure could this post be the clomid

Did you take antibiotics prior the hsg procedure? It is standard procedure to issue antibiotics as a precaution as there is a small risk of infection having an hsg. The tablets might be antibiotics.

Were the tubes clear?

Do you have PCOS or PCO?( PCO is just the polycystric ovaries without the syndrome part) Or problems with ovulation? If you do and providing your tubes are clear and partners sperm is normal then yes clomid would be your first line treatment.

I haven't heard of posting prescription drugs-except ladies on here receiving IVF drugs?

I found the hsg agony too-I think mine hurt as I had a slight block which the dr cleared (caused by mucus). Tho I think most women don't find it that bad I was unlucky! I have PCO and as my tubes are ok I have been issued clomid.

I would phone your clinic when they are open tomorrow. They won't mind- it's understandable you were in pain.

Hi jess thnks alot for the info i had taken the tablets before the procedure the antibiotics but she said she will post me the tablets which is weird i must have mis heard her.

Hi bibi_16. I would check up on this, as it is unusual for tablets to be posted. they can be delivered by a courier or collected. Hope it's all OK. Diane
