Gonal f stims

Hie. I am on an ivf journey with my partner who had vasectomy before we met. im still young and very healthy. i am worried that after i take all these stimulating hormones, they wont find sperm in him. Has anyone ever come across a similar case. i am worried sick. i started my Gonal F last night

I've not heard of anyone in a similar situation. Will they be doing sperm retrieval?

Just wanted to wish you luck with your treatment.

I've not long finished my first cycle of IVF (ICSI) and I'm currently in the 2 week wait xxx

Our Dr said his vasectomy is young so we will be fine. My fingers are crossed. And yes they will do a sperm retrieval operation, i think it hurts. My estimated EC day is 7 November, that`s when they will do sperm retrieval as well.

That's good then 😊 I'm sure all will be fine.

I do know a couple who had IVF and her husband had a versectomy reversal and they now have a little boy through IVF 😊 his reversal worked and his sperm was fine even though he'd had the versectomy for about 12 years. They needed IVF just because it wasn't happening naturally for them.

Not long for you to go then until EC 😊 it's an exciting and scary time xxx
