So there I am eating my Brazil nuts and pineapple core and being really good. I then realise in the middle of the night (as you do with these things) that I've been using an electric blanket since my transfer last Monday.
I couldn't survive a New Zealand winter (central heating doesn't exist here) without it but now I'm scared I've boiled my embryo. Bring on test day on Thursday cos this is rubbish.

They do say for people using hot water bottles for stimming not to use them after transfer and don't have hot baths, but I'm guessing you've only got the blanket on at a certain level, otherwise you'd be sweating in your sleep and wouldn't be able to sleep more than you are struggling with already??
I've read somewhere before, that they say to keep your feet warm after transfer, so maybe you can shove the blanket towards the end of the bed
Try not to worry too much and definitely don't give yourself a hard time!!
X
I think you will be fine as yes you don't want to overheat but equally if your cold your body has to work harder pumping blood around your body. Like Hollibob said keep your feet warm X
This is interesting As my fertility doctor told me to avoid 'a cold womb' as it supposed to make implantation harder. I have hashimotos so my thyroid makes me cold all the time. And I often go to bed with full clothes on winter blanket. Sometimes electric blanket. Someone mentioned if the body is cold uour body has to work harder, j got told that too. . I would prob leave the hot water bottles alone if you had it on your Tum, but i reckon you should be ok with electric blanket. Xxx
Don't worry the blanket has been keeping your whole body at a comfortable temperature it's being used to overheat you which is what happens with hot baths, saunas and hot water bottles. You have not cooked your embryo x
