Hello all. I'm on day 6 of Buserilin injections (first IVF cycle) and feel ok just a few stomach cramps. How did people feel on stimulation? I have low AMH so will need high dose.

Thanks

G

Hi Gemma, I've been on stims (menopur) for 9 days now. I've a lower AMH and I'm on the max dose for my clinic. I'm feeling much better than I was on just the buserelin, started on nasal spray, then onto injections. After staring stims my swollen ankles went away, so did the fuzzy head feeling/headaches and boobs have gone back to normal size and not so sore. I've been slow to respond to down regulation and stims but I'm getting there. Just had my day 8 scan yesterday and I have follicles. Can't say I have any symptoms really apart from one or two twinges but that's it! Good luck!x

Thank you for replying Cinderella and I am really glad to heard your symptoms were minimal on stimms. It's so helpful to hear from someone who is going through it. I am really pleased to hear that you have follicles.

Huge luck

I felt fine until the last few days and then had a weird heavy feeling. It wasn't painful but I was certainly aware my ovaries were massive. I just felt tired walking around too much. My boobs also really ached for the last few days. I was on 300 of Gonal F.

Good luck. x

I'm on day 4 of short protocol. My stims are 450 as I have low AMH too. No side effects I can tell of as yet.

Good luck to us all!!!!!!! xx

I've just finished and had ET yesterday

I had headaches and slight backache but not many other symptoms until the last few days when my ovaries felt full and uncomfortable. I said it was like they were full of melons lol. I had 14 eggs collected.

Good luck to you 🍀💕

Hi Loobee

Thank you for the reply, melons I can deal with if I can produce as many eggs as you. I'm glad you didn't suffer too much.

Well done on the 14 eggs and good luck for the future.

I quickly learned that the number of eggs collected is not the important part. I only had 3 we could use however all 3 were of high quality so one transferred and two frozen xx

That's what my friend said too, I have been panicking about my low AMH but clearly there are plenty of others that have success. Quality is most important you are right.

Take care

I was really upset when I got my call to say I only had 3 out of 14 but when I really thought about it I knew I only needed one good string one. All three were graded 4A so turned out just how we needed it.

Delivery quality over quantity. Good luck to you Gemma xx

Hi, good luck with your cycle!

I was on 225 and, like some of the others, I was fine until the last 3/4 days when I was very heavy and uncomfortable. Drinking lots helped and I certainly wasn't speedy on my feet and wound down my pace at work. 5 days after EC and the symptoms have subsided nicely ready for transfer.

Good luck xxx

Hi and thank you for the email and the great advice. I will definitely drink plenty and luckily I have a very understanding boss so will take it as easy as possible.

Lots of luck to you too for transfer.
