I had 10 eggs, only got 3 fertilised, and only 1 made it to day 5. Currently 19 weeks pregnant so it only takes 1!

This was our first cycle x

Hi murph82,

Thanks for your reply. Trying to stay positive , been resting but most getting stitch like pains in tummy , it's fine when I've not moved about but I popped out for lunch today and then popped to the supermarket , and now pain seems to be more noticeable . I guess I'm a bit paranoid , but just hope it's the embryos attaching which according to what I've read, should be the case 2 days after 5 day transfer. I know I'm able to take paracetamol but don't like the idea of it.

Did you get much pains after transfer ? When did they stop? There just like a stich . X

Yeah I had stitch like pains and also pains that were similar to AF. I was convinced it hasn't worked and spent a lot of time on Google (which I do not recommend). Pains are normal at this stage; remember you've been prodded around inside so it's only normal to feel tender xxx

Hey. It worked for me 1st time to. They only collected 4 eggs and all 4 fertilised. They did 5day transfer but used 2 eggs as eggs weren't growing as they should. 1 of the eggs implanted and I'm expected a girl on Monday. I'm now 39+2. Sending fairy dust to you all xx

I'm 32+5 with twins after having 2 blastos transferred on first cycle. We only had the 2 to transfer. Twinges at this stage are normal, don't read too much into it.

Out first round of IVF with a 5 day blastocyst was successful. I really struggled to believe it would happen for us but my little miracle arrived 8 weeks ago.

Wishing you the best of luck! x
