as the title says, I'm not feeling too good at the minute, and could do with wise words from those who know best....
i had my internal scan yesterday I had one folic all which was 22mm then a couple at 17 then quite a few at 15 or under. They told me that I would need to keep with my injections and to have EC on Friday. I then had a call yesterday afternoon they had my blood tests back from yesterday morning whatever it is that they look for in your bloods mine was low. They were expecting it to be double what it was. They've now decided my best option is to proceed with EC tomorrow. I just felt deflated it's a hard process as it is, but to be swapped and changed it makes me feel worse. I just didn't come out feeling very positive. They don't know yet how many eggs I have but I will know tomorrow and I will be told of we can do transfer on Friday or not, I feel like I've been so positive up to this point and it feels so close, but so far away too now 😞 xxx

I feel for you, it's so hard when they swap and change with no warnings. You just have to try and trust they are doing what's best for you. Good luck 🍀🍀
Hello
The wait for the egg collection is stressful - just trust that they are doing their best to get your matured eggs at the optimum stage for you ... The more stories I hear the more sure I am that it doesn't matter about size, quality, number ... They are fragile and what you need to look to is a good number of fertilised eggs, hopefully 5 day blasts and keep taking care of yourself!
Good Luck to you!! We are still waiting on our own success, but have hope they've done this before! Xxx
The timescales they give you are subject to change! It's an educated guess. Dates for my ECs changed dependent on the scans & blood test results. There is nothing you can do but trust the medical staff are doing their best to collect as many of your eggs as they can.
Yes! *honest opinion ahead* And I pray it works first time for you as the trauma of repeated failures gets worse and learning to manage the stress is key (I'm not there yet either, don't worry!!)
Good Luck tomorrow, get the paracetamol on standby ... Lots of TLC needed xxx
