I'm so sorry to hear this. I have had a similar experience, though my periods are slightly less regular than it sounds like yours usually are. The best piece of advice I was given by my GP was that unless I received a positive or even a feint positive on a test, I should never fear that a late and heavy period was anything more than exactly that. I can't explain it as well as she did, but it made a lot of sense and has given me a lot of comfort. Fearing the unknown is just the worst thing you can let your mind do I guess, though I completely understand that that's much easier said than done.
I'm so sorry you're having such a long battle TTC. Sending you love and strength x
Hi Hun, I'm going through something similar, its currently cd35 for me, last af 28th March lasted 3 days. Very light. That cycle was 24 days. I'm 36 also. Even tho I have pcos I've still been relatively regular since teens. We have been ttc since 2011. Have had af cramps and feel like I'm gonna come on anytime for the last week. Haven't got the guts to test! My longest cycle is 36 days which will be Tommorow. I've only ever had one cycle as long as that before and that month I know for a fact I didn't ov. Maybe that's what's happened with you? I'm terrified things are changing because I'm getting older 😔 But we've been trying so long I daren't let myself even think about testing...
As daft as it sounds I love my little bubble of maybe, and until the witch shows a bfn would burst that bubble.
Have you been under any more stress or I'll last month? That may have contributed ? Xx
