Hi Ladies
I have just started to see brown spotting and I am 6w.. This is pretty devastating as I have been ok up until now. Done a test today and it has gone from 2-3 weeks to 3+.
I have a scan booked for tomorrow as let's face it I need to know something even if it is bad news. It's slowly gotten a fraction worse throughout the day no pain just lower intermittent waves of cramping.
Any good stories with this outcome?
I do! When I was 7 weeks pregnant with my son I bled very heavily like a full flow period. I was convinced I'd lost the pregnancy and the midwife advised me to carry on as normal. I went for my scan expecting to see nothing but taken away when I saw my baby's heartbeat 💗 Some woman bled in pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies. My son is now 17 and a huge strapping rugby player! Hope 2morro goes well and you get see your baby's heartbeat 💞x x x

This is really common hon, please try not to worry. Distract yourself! Do something to make yourself happy so your baby can be flooded with happy hormones rather than sad stressful ones xx
I've seen a few comments on different posts about this lovely, all women saying it's common. I'm sure you've nothing to worry about. Good luck tomorrow

I have been seeing brown spotting since 2 days after I got my BFP, I am now 9 weeks and still getting it on and off every day. Had a scan last Wednesday and all seems to be going well x
Very common I'd told you I had it followed by bleeds red and brown... as long as your not filling pads of blood every hour you should be fine

Scans didn't show where it was coming from all they could say is its prob just your cervix being extra sensitive as there's a lot going on in there x
I had this at 5 then 6 weeks, your heart sinks when you see anything like that, it's very common and usually implantation bleed.

Hey tamtam I've never got a bfp so can't give you any advise at all. I just wanted to say I'm praying that your scan shows a lovely strong heartbeat which lasts for the full term till you have your little bean in your arms.

Hi tamtam, i have heard that brown spotting or light red bleeding is normal so try not to stress about it. I know thats easier said than done but here's hoping all is well. Get a good comedy on tonight to take your mind off things and have a laugh. Im keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow. Let us know how you get on. Take care xx
It's meant to be very common I would say nothing to worry about, could be little one/ones getting nice and comfy. Brown blood is old blood. Hope everything goes well tomorrow, this is your time hun get relaxing and enjoy every second. So happy 4u xx

I had brown spotting, hell I think I even had red blood still at 6 weeks. Had my 12 week scan yesterday (though am actually 13 weeks). Rest as much as you can and see what advice your clinic has. I hope I am proof it may be fine!
I had lots of spotting all varieties of colour. Keep calm. Good luck xx

Keep calm and don't stop any of the progesterone etc. if you are taking anything.
I had exactly the same and was so worried. Now have 5 month twins. Try not to worry and good luck xx

Thank you for all the well wishes... As you know we went for our early scan because I was just sitting and driving myself totally insane.
Happy to say that officially we are 6w today and there is a sac fetal pole and the best present of all a HEARTBEAT 😍
She said all is in the right place and perfect for my dates baby due Dec 14. Seems to be one in there unless the other is hiding but I don't mind one is perfect.
Still early but I keep saying today I am pregnant and lucky xxx

Congratulations! It is wonderful to see that heartbeat! I had a bleed around 12 weeks and everything was fine. It actually seems pretty normal! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

I had my early scan on Wednesday and they found a heartbeat too ❤️ Congratulations Tamtam like you said it's another hurdle cleared and has given me a lot of reassurance x
