Hi all

We had appointment this morning for DH's blood test results all ok 😄

SSR booked in for the 3rd March and if that's successful then I'm in on the 14th March to start the process.

It's so hard as my bmi was a bit low 20.5 so they've told me to eat a bit more and were on the vitamins (me folic acid and vit D), OH on wellman supplements too. We're eating so healthy and I'm drinking lots of milk but it feels like we are preparing for the Unknown.

What if we've gone through all of this for them to not find any sperm .....???

My husband is adamant they won't and I've googled EVERY known website going for answers.

Our faith must be in the urologist I know... I think it's just the not knowing.

If any one of you has success stories or tips or aftercare for DH who have had Pesa (may end up Mesa) then please do share to try give me some hope

Holly x

Hi isitonlyadream. I'm sure your husband's urologist will search thoroughly to find some sperm to use. I have dealt with many couples who have been through similar cycles, and most of them end up with sperm to create little embryos. Just under a couple of weeks to wait now, so all I can do is wish you both well and enjoy some nice food to keep your weight up! Diane

Hi. Showing my age now, but I have a photo of the very first baby conceived after PESA in England! I really do wish you both well with it all. Diane

Hi Diane

I'll be sure to let you know how we get on. They are doing the procedure on the 3rd and we have to call ACU mid morning on the 4th to see if they managed to find any.... Doubt either of us will sleep that evening!

Thank you again for the positivity, holly

Hi. Oh please do. You've plenty of time to save up some TLC for hubby. He will be sore and swollen, but everything will return back to normal quite soon afterwards. Diane

I hope so Diane, he's a bit worried about it if I'm honest even though I've asked loads of questions! We are off to the beach with the dogs for a relaxing week on the 5th so hopefully he can relax and take it nice and easy and I'll look after him! Have everything crossed that it's a success, I'll let you know. Thanks again, holly
