Hi Aimaim, it totally depends on what meds and treatment plan you are put on. For me, my meds cost about £1k for one cycle. I'm sure the costs also vary depending on type of clinic and location. When will you know what your treatment plan is going to be? X

Hi Hannah , was your treatment private or nhs? My first app is Tuesday , nhs , so am guessing they will go through which protocol I'll be on . X

If you're getting your treatment on the NHS, then it won't cost you anything. If you go privately you will have to pay. Good luck for your appt, try to relax, you want your body to be as stress free as possible xx

Hi Aimaim77. Yes, do get a pre-payment certificate, as it does cover all infertility drugs if you are having NHS treatment. It will cover anything else should you need it too, not to do with infertility. Good luck! Diane

Our consultant has given us a copy of our private prescription so that we can shop around. Apparently Asda pharmacy can order the meds at a cheaper price. Might be worth getting a price from your clinic as well as a copy of your prescription x

Hi Aimaim,

Are you going private..or funded by the nhs? Private you will have to pay for all the drugs, but I am sure you don't pay if nhs funded.

I was private and on a high dosage so my drugs cost around £1800.

Hope that helps,

Hi if your NHS it's just normal prescription charges but it does work out cheaper getting a pre paid prescription card especially if you need extra meds part way through your treatment. Also if you need a second round of treatment you may still be in the 3month period and get second round of drugs free. Hope this helps. Good luck. Xxx

I got my medication this week and it was £32.80 prescription prices that's all x
