Egg collection Monday in RFC Belfast

Has anyone had egg collection while your still awake? Is it sore ? The last time I was knocked out and didn't feel a thing.

Hey, I'm in Spain and all the collections are done without anaesthetic, if you can avoid it avoid it. Get knocked out, it's horrible

I had my treatment at RVh. They will give you something to relax you and you won't feel much pain at all during the process. They will also give you something afterward to help with after pain. The nursing stafffand consultant's were lovely during the process. Good luck!

Hi Skinead. By now you will have probably had your egg collection procedure done. Hope all went well and you had a good yield of eggs. Good luck with the rest of the cycle - fertilisation and embryo transfer. Diane

It's was very painful, and only 2 eggs but hopefully they fertilise. Find out tomorrow at 10 🙏🙏🙏 thank you x
