I know this is a random question...but I’m really missing soaking in a warm bubble bath, especially in this weather and with everything going on. It’s usually my ultimate ‘me-time’ de-stresser.
I know you should avoid in the 2WW and shower facing away from the water etc....but how long do you have to avoid baths for in pregnancy? When am I safe to jump back in and relax and escape the madness?!

Hi Winnie, I’m nearly 10 weeks pregnant and my nurse said I can go into jacuzzi and steam room so I guess a bath is fine too (I haven’t yet because I’m not comfortable with the idea).
I would definitely avoid though in the 2ww.
During my 2ww I even took shorter and colder showers not to bother the embryo (bit crazy tho lol)
Thank you! From which week was she comfortable with you doing that? I agree I wouldn’t feel comfortable with jacuzzi or steam room, but a ‘less warm than normal’ bath I would die for...I’m only still 5.5 weeks though, so I can definitely wait to be safe rather than sorry! You’re nearly over the 12 week mark...you go girl!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I would avoid ‘as hot as possible’ ....btw I used to love really hot showers but since being pregnant I like much colder ones (which is really weird but hot ones make my nausea worse...) how are you feeling? Xx
I will tone it down then. I also sleep with a hot water bottle at night, but obviously have been careful not to have that near my stomach. I'm good.... just worried about this virus! Too early to be symptom spotting and I'm keeping busy! Thanks. 😊
