Hi,
The doctors gave me microgynon to have a fake period so a HSG can be done. I have had it for 21 days and on a 7 day break for period to come. Today is my 7 day and still no period, I have had some cramps but no bleeding. Is this normal

Hi Indian-30. It is always hoped that you will bleed once you stop taking the Microgynon. However, this doesn’t always happen, and there can be a delay. I would go back and see your doctor for further advice, so that you can soon get your HSG organised. Good luck! Diane
