got another docs appointment on the 18th of august going to see if she will send me for blood tests to check if im ovulating just worried incase i get the same anser as last time been doing home ovulation tests for 6 months and there still coming up negative really getting me down any way see how it goes fingers crossed

My specialist said I'm not ovulating every month but she said it's not a problem as they can give you a pill to make you ovulate each month x we now need IVF but she said it's not a problem as they control your whole cycle anyway x

Hello Kez1610, your doctor should be able to do a blood test to confirm if you're ovulating. I'm not medically qualified so I can say for sure, but it seems that if you're not ovulating GPs generally prescribe Clomid to try and kick start things.

Hi kez1610. Hopefully your GP will be able to organise a Day 21 progesterone test for you to check ovulation. This is as it says – done on Day 21 of your menstrual cycle. A positive result should read 30 or more. Should there be a problem, or you have been trying to get pregnant for a while, you should get referred for further investigations and treatment. Good luck!
