Just found out I need IVF

Hi ladies I've just found out I need IVF I have another appointment with my consultant in September just to make the final decisions... does anyone no the time of the waiting list in northern Ireland?

It's at least 9 months once you get on the waiting list. I've been attending the RFC for 6 months and still not on the waiting list. We went private in the end. As the appointment are 3 months apart, when all you want is information. Good luck ❤️💜

Yeah its horrible waiting 3months I can't understand that... its a stressful enough situation without waiting so long x

We were told 9 months but went on it at end of September and reached the top end March so was only 6 months. I think many people fall pregnant while on the list or simply choose not to take up treatment so it can move quicker than expected. My best advice would be to use the wait to get yourself as fit and healthy as possible. Good luck x

Thanks for the reply I hope it moves as fast for me we've been ttc for 2 and a half years.. The consultant said at my age that all should go well... fingers crossed
