I have my pregnancy test on Friday and stupidly I have tested early. The result was positive and now I am happy but it could all come crashing down on Friday. I think I feel worse now I have done it :-(

Don't regret what you did...we've all been there. Just keep those positive vibes going, Friday isn't far away...

What day was your transfer?

I wouldn't call it a big mistake. It is natural and normal. Relax and enjoy! Think positive and Friday will be as brilliant as today!

I did my first early test 13 days after trigger day with a test that was a couple of months out of date..there was the faintest line ever, but it was a positive. I left it for 2 days and then did another one and the line had got stronger. I continued to do them until OTD and they were all positive.

I was obviously very excited to see the positives, but I told myself not to believe it until OTD.

I read stories about how it can change over a couple of days so mentally prepared myself, so you are only being human and it all feels quite surreal.

I know they aren't cheap, but maybe do another one today so that you aren't constantly worrying?

I did mine on the Friday lunch time, it was positive but feint, I was supposed to test on the Monday morning. It was still positive on the Monday but darker, and now we have a 2 year old to prove it was right. It's a killer wait, don't beat yourself up.xx

Aw Jill don't beat yourself up about it, it's the hardest thing that wait isn't it. I was ridiculous and took around 17 tests through that period, even though they were positive I told myself I would wait until the blood test. I felt terrible doing them as I had promised myself I wouldn't. I also had a 5day transfer and took the first test only a week after transfer. I have everything crossed that Friday will be the result you want. Laura xx

Hi Jill

Really hope this works out for you this time. Your embryo seems to have no problem attaching - something that never worked for me with embryo transfer. Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed this is it xxx

I have to say I'm very tempted to do a test at 6dp5dt. I'm not sure I'll make it another 8 days to our clinics suggested date.
