Anyone pregnant with twins or any experience with twin pregnancies? I'm delighted to say that I found out today that I'm expecting twins! Couldn't be happier. I have lots to learn, I know there is greater risk and more chance of complications especially as they share a gestational sac. I would love to hear from someone who has experienced similar.

Twins!
I know many people who have had twins and had no complications . I suppose best way of seeing it , is like a side effect .
You probably sick more , probably need to eat more and probably a lot more to keep them little twinkles growing.
Look after yourself as best you can and sure you will have a couple of little screamers ahhhh so excited.
All the best and good luck x
I'm 37 weeks pregnant with twins, I'm booked in for a section to have them on Thursday because they are both breech. I've had no problems at all not an ounce of sickness either. Try not to worry too much about the consultants do make you worry with horror stories. Although mine are in separate sacks I got scanned every 4 weeks I believe that at my hospital they scan every 2 weeks for same sac twins. Youl be looked after a lot with more scans and midwife apps.
I was constantly worried about the size of mine and if they were growing but I've had a scan today I've got two little chunks that weigh 5lb15oz and 6lb4oz!
Good luck with your pregnancy put your feet up and enjoy being looked after xxxx
Hi first of all congrats to you chick I sooo happy for you secoundly I have 6 week old twins feeding one right this moment they shared the same sac identical twin girls all I can say is just take it easy they do say it's more risks I guess they are I was told that through my whole pregancy but I carried mine till 37 weeks shock is classed as full term with twins I had scan from 12 weeks every 2 weeks up until I had them it's just to check that one baby not taking more or the other and to check your plencenta is coping well it is scary carrying twins I have a son to so I have somthing to compare it to and it's harder on your body but it's so fun at the same time I had them naturally aswell made it easier to look after them afterwards but there such good girls my advice would be after there born keep them toghther in the same cot I have and they sleep a dream only up once between 12 till 7 for a feed since five weeks old cuz you gave to feed them every four hours before that but they are my little joys love them so much any questions just ask good luck chick xxxxx
Can I ask, did your baby girls share a placenta? I've been consulting Dr Google and it says a shared placenta adds increased risk. Also can I ask, after your first baby was delivered, how did the second baby get into position for delivery? Did they have to manually turn her?
Course you can ask they did share a plancenta chick they do say it more risk but they keep a close eye on you chick you get to see your babies every other week when I went into labour they were both head down twin. 1 which was Lilly she was head down from 27 weeks and twin 2 poppy she was head down from 30 weeks so they didn't have to turn her and when your in labour and the first one out they have a midwife holding the other twin in place just by pressing on your tummy to make sure she doesn't move it doesn't hurt you or baby I didn't even notice it was just that they told me what they wee doing and also just to give you a heads up the secound baby was out in two pushes so much easier than the first you it's not that bad I'm so excited for you I would have twins all over again and mine are 6 weeks old and it wasn't that bad at all giving birth and caring them I'm only small 5,3 and size 8 before twins lol and I managed just fine hard at the end could move but did my asda shopping the day my waters broke wodled round asda but I did it and that's was at 37 weeks xxxx
