Bit confused 😕

Just wondering if anyone knows if my thaw cycle didn't work why ive to keep taking climaval and cyclogest for weeks months not sure why so long and wot its doing to my body xxxxxx

Hi Lynsey, I would understand you have to keep taking it until the end of the failed cycle, are you sure you have to take it for weeks/months? Reason to keep taking progesterone (cyclogest) is to avoid miscarriages if the embryo has implanted, but if it has failed I don't see why. Unless you have some specific condition that needs correcting by a long progesterone treatment, I'd say it would be safer to double check with your doctor, because you're basically not letting the new cycle start.

Hiya hun i phoned them sat but were shut someone phoned me yesterday and said i picked nurse up wrong and had to stop them ragin with myself as she said come off them and i will get a period within 7 days but coz i was taking them longer than should have for 5 days my periods will come later of course which means when phone.with my August period it will be later than would habe been if i stopped taking my tablets if this makes sense xxxxxxx

Absolutely, it makes sense. If you've kept taking the progesterone your body was acting somehow like you were pregnant so you weren't getting your period. Once you stop taking this, your period should come within a few days. Just in case DO A PREGNANCY TEST before stopping the progesterone, just in case, who knows, you might be pregnant. If that's negative then stop the progesterone.
