Hormonal battle Round 2.... Bring it on!

I am doing Ivf from the Middle East, this blog has been my inspiration, my source of info and my IVF buddy so to speak from afar so thank you to the lovely ladies on here...I feel your pain but also hear your laughter and resilience which fuels mine too! I was one of only 4 ladies undertaking Ivf at the one and only clinic, none of us spoke the same language, so as you can imagine having the virtual support and knowledge from this blog has been a god send! i had a negative first result, which I was gutted about but am recovered and ready to attack hormonal battle round 2!! Got my lucky pants on as if I can't laugh myself through this process I know for sure I will cry at some point!! Wish me luck xx

Hi Camelkarma is nice to have person like u to join us. I had my first unsuccessful cycle too. Well we going back to doctor in 2weeks to talk about that and what to do next . We only had one free cycle on NHS 😔 If we decide to have another GO we need to pay. U wrote that u doing round 2 in Middle East clinic . Can I ask u where and how much . ? Here will cost us around £6000 😔

Hello there, good to hear from you, I underwent round one in the Middle East too as have been living and working here for 3 years now...and it cost the same as you, GBP 6000!!! It's a bit gut wrenching when you write that figure down!! I hear IVF in neighbouring Turkey is far more cheaper than UK although have not checked it out! wishing you huge amounts of luck xx

Well look like that no different at all if is abroad or UK ....un less is in Poland . I was checking all the clinic there . Is two top clinic what a lots of women and couples coming for treatment from Germany. The cost is so cheap ... For that price here in UK I will have at least 5 cycles there....😃 But I keeping my finger cross for u Camelkarma ... Hun when I read your first post 2day ...,special the end of ... I am about to start ICSI in the UAE. There seems to be a very relaxed attitude to it all here.

Yes it's very relaxed where I am too, I learnt so much from this site and ask so many questions such as grade of my eggs and got a blank response of they are good or we wouldn't of put them back in?!?!

Good luck Camelkarma and to all ladies. My family not live in UK and I know its so hard when you are abroad specially no one near from your family to share ups and down. I'm so thankful that I find this blog and share my emotions. We are waiting our protocols to sign and hoping to start ICSI by June.
