Very stressed and upset with my clinic today.

so as the title says. I am very stressed and upset to tears this morning. And minor panic attack. As when booking for my first scan the nurse told me today that they will be moving my embryo to another clinic in London as they Are having a lab refurb. And so I need to sign consent forms. Fine. But also that I won't even be having my transfer at my clinic either. But they knew they were doing refurb stuff since January. And this is the first I hear of it when I'm about to start treatment cycle. I don't know if im moaning for no reason. But I just feel they should have said this before now!!! Sorry for Another moan. Lots of love to all other ladies. Xx

Hi Piglet12, the clinic probably didn't think much of it as you will still have your treatment but, for us ladies, the whole experience is so stressful and there is so much riding on it that I can understand this change in the plan is pretty frustrating for you!

If it's not too far away I would travel to the new clinic before your treatment just to make sure you can find it and familiarise yourself with where it is. That will take the stress out of it in the day!

I think that it's very reasonable to have your moan! Having no control and struggling with infertility can be testing mentally and any change can set some into a tail spin(it would me!!).

I agree with Hopeful1982 try not to let this unexpected change stop you from getting what you want. It may be worth visiting the clinic, you may be pleasantly surprised when you get there and to familiarise yourself with staff and the environment!
