Just had my egg collection today and they got 9 out, feel quite sore today is this normal?

It is normal as your ovaries have just been poked around with lots of needles to retrieve your eggs, get plenty of rest and good luck with your fertilisation results tomorrow

Yes I too had mine collected today and iv been quite uncomfortable and bloated afterwards. The nurses confirmed this is normal. Iv tried to relax and sleep as much as possible.

Thank you ladies, I've just had my phone call off the hospital, and we have 1 embryo which is being transferred on Thursday. I'm a bit disappointed as we had 4 out of the 9 eggs that were taken that were suitable for Icsi. Does anyone know what the chances are of a successful pregnancy with 1 embryo. I am greatful, that we have one little strong embryo.

They only put 1 in at a time now.but they should freeze the rest . good luck and take it easy! !!!

Thank you they won't be able to freeze any embryos as they only got one
