Feeling anxious awaiting call

After yesterday’s good news from the clinic that our two embryos were developing nicely at day 3 I’m still waiting to hear from the clinic today. They said that they would aim to transfer tomorrow (day 5) and that I would be called today with an update and further instructions. I’ve been patiently waiting and keeping myself busy but am starting to worry now that I haven’t heard. Have decided I’ll call them after 3pm if I haven’t heard by then. Does anyone have similar experience of this? Is no news good news? Thanks

I feel your pain I’m in exactly the same position! Although our clinic said we wouldn’t actually get an update today, something about the nature of embryos at day 4 doesn’t tend to tell them much so rather than update today they will tell us tomorrow. But they did say they would be I touch with an appointment time for my transfer tomorrow and as I’ve still not heard about that am feeling a bit anxious. But hopefully nothing to worry about. I hope you get your call soon xxx

I was thinking about you. My husband said to call them now but I am scared to so said I wanted to wait another hour. I’m reassured by what you said about not being able to assess embryo quality further at day 4 though. I was worried there would be (bad) news. Where are you in the UK?

Yes I’m pretty sure it’s been the same on all of our cycles - they’ve never given an update on day 4 (and we’ve had treatment at a few different hospitals so it does seem quite common I think). But if you are worried you could just give them a call, I’m sure they won’t mind! We are in the Northwest. What about you? x

I’m in Edinburgh but treatment is at the private clinic in Glasgow. They just called me and said plan to go ahead for transfer tomorrow morning. She did mention both are still looking OK but of course they’ll properly assess tomorrow. Hope you get your call soon. Thinking of you xxx

So we now have an appointment for our transfer tomorrow at 1pm. She’s said we will only get a call in the morning if there is something wrong - so fingers crossed we hear nothing and we get to transfer! 🤞 Eeek nervous/ excited now! xx

Hiya I was about to comment that mine call around 2.30pm/3pm the day before transfer, then I just saw your update that they had just phoned and I realised we’re at the same clinic 😂😂. Around 2.30 must be their phoning time. Wishing you lots of luck for your transfer tomorrow ♥️ x

I get my call in the afternoon too usually around 2pm. I am also due for transfer tomorrow I was a little confused with todays call though something about stages they need to get too. I have 2 at one stage and one at another apparently which she said they were happy with? I’m guessing the 4th one is now no good ? Further update in the morning apparently it’s just a waiting game 🙄
