Is there anyone who has had successful IVF without both fallopian tubes?
I have had both of my fallopian tubes... - Fertility Network UK
I have had both of my fallopian tubes removed 6 years ago but my ovaries are ok.
I'm yet to find out if it'll be successful or not but I don't think it hinders in any way. In fact I have read some posts on here from ladies that didn't have them removed and then have had unsuccessful ivf cycles due to fluid in the tubes. Hope this helps.
You don't need your tubes for IVF. You will be absolutely fine. xx
this is helpful, i hope it's successful for you. thank you so much
Thanks danielle x
I believe if anything it can help if you have scarring or anything like that within the tubes. I had mine removed in feb and hoping to start 1st cycle in June
Thank you for some hope. Have just returned from surgery to have 1 tube and cysts removed, only to be told by my partner that they had to remove both. Am in such pain emotionally and from surgery. With being a few months off being 40, with a low AMH I can feel my dreams slipping away. This post has given me hope. I will be thinking of you and keeping my fingers and everything crossed for you.
