My husband and I went to a private clinic in Wales on saturday, hubby has low sperm count 600,000 but the sperm that he does have are fine. They have recommended icsi, anyone had any success stories? Xx

Hi, we've only used icsi, and on our 4th round of treatment weresuccessful, so it can work. Good luck.

We used ICSI were all our three attempts as my husband had low motility of his sperm. On our last cycle all eggs fertilised and I am now 36 weeks pregnant. The first one failed due to having two hydrosalpinges, so nothing to do with the ICSI as I subsequently had them removed.

Hi amyrhill88 my partner has a low sperm count so we have been offered icsi im really excited. I started my bursulin injections on weds so fingers crossed it works out for us.. ive heard lots of success stories with icsi..

Hi,

We’re due to start our first round of icsi this month. Husband has low count, motility issues and poor morphology, although he went to produce a back up sample to freeze in case we need it on the day and his count had more than doubled and morphology good. Still only 4 million but anything is a bonus.

Nervous and excited all at the same time, just trying to not get my hopes up as I know it’s still a case of luck as to whether it’s successful first time.
