Does anyone know how many embryos they thaw at a time?

Hi, you're expecting a double transfer arent you? In which case, they'll start with two, see how they get on and only bring on more if needed.

Hi Flowergirl, I am having a double transfer but they did say that when they thaw them, if one is still really good quality they will only transfer one, if they are both just good quality or abit less then then will transfer 2, probably because of my age and the risk of multiple births, but I wondered if they only used one to transfer and they thawed 2, will they refreeze the other one they might not use.

Can't refreeze, don't worry, if it is still looking good, they won't waste it and will pop it in. whilst they want single births, it's not as though they are putting in 2. I had 2 blastocysts transferred, and only have a single pregnancy.
