How many scans and blood test are usually done while u are on the stimulation drugs?

Hi leeann. As a general rule you have an initial “baseline” scan after you have finished the course of down regulation drug e.g. Buserelin. This is then followed by one or two scans (depending on your clinic), to check how your follicle development is progressing while taking the stimulation drug. This/these are done to tell you when to go ahead and have your “trigger” injection to release eggs into the developing follicles. Hope that helps. Diane

Thanks for the reply. I'm having 2nd cycle at a different clinic and was different to the first. Having eggs collected on Tuesday but looks like i only have 3 follies this time compared to 8 last time.
