I am so anxious, I am on day 11th after egg collection, I have done 5 pregnancy test and all negative, my blood test is this Thursday.

Hi There, which test have you tried ? Dont use cheap strips there no good.

Some tests done read as the HCG has to be above 25 for a pregnancy test to read.

Best one to try would be ClearBlue, when the egg implants hcg is very very low, and takes between 48-72 hours to Multiply. it doesn't mean your not pregnant if you get a negative result it could just mean your levels have not reached the amount needed to show positive.

please, please please step away from the sticks - you will drive yourself absolutely crazy. One of 2 things happen when you test early - either you get a positive but there is then a risk of it becoming negative by test day (its called a chemical pg and happened to me in my last cycle) or you could get a negative result, as you've just experienced, and you are now going to convince yourself it hasn't worked, causing even more upset and stress than you were probably feeling already.

I know how so very hard it is not to test and how this 2 week wait is the longest 2 weeks in the world, i've just got thru mine! - but you have to hang on now. I have 2 5-day blastocysts transferred but still then had to wait another 15 days before I could do a test, that 20 days after egg collection - and remember, you've said that you tested just 11 days after egg collection. As the other lady said, it could well just be too early.

You are nearly there, please try not to test any more and concentrate on keeping positive and relaxing when you can

Hi Treacle thankyou for your message, I just thought that the embryo would of implanted on day 8 and 9 so day 11 makes that 2 days more so that's why I was doing the test and yes your right I have it in my head it has not worked. How long does it take for the embryo to finish implanting? x

I know how absolutely crazy you'll be driving yourself but I'm with Treacle on the step away from the sticks front. However many you do it won't change what happens on test day! Fingers crossed, and try and find yourself a little project to keep your brain busy. Good luck.xx

Danielle my test day is Monday and I can relate to what you are experiencing, I bought clear blue stick last night and tested because I could not take it any longer, my heart pounded so much waiting for the hour glass to stop then see Not Pregnant. That was the worst! I was very low after, the first time I have been that low in a long time, this is a difficult lonely journey.

Hi Mangwana, im sorry to hear about your test being negative, I have been using the clear blue tests too and all negative. It makes you feel like it just has not worked. May I ask when you had your embryo transfer, mine was a Blastocyst transfer 7 days ago.

Hi there I had a embryo transfer, mine was a Blastocyst transfer 5 days ago and I'm not feeling anything I tested with a clearblue test today and its saying not pregnant so does that say the ivf did not work for me it was my fist time on it and we don't have any eggs left I feel so sad about this .
