should imagine it will vary from clinic to clinic. For me the treatment started fairly quickly after the first appointment - but will probably depend on what blood tests you need (and what point in your cycle your at).

My first meeting involved me having a scan, couple of blood tests (both myself and my partner) and signing a lot of forms.

That's good well my first appoitments soon but dunno when everything else will start how are u findin it all

Melanie

I at GRI too. What happens is they send you a letter with two apts. the first is just an introduction to the clinic & process. You & your partner both get blood tests & you get smears taken too. You also get a pile of forms to read & complete.

Second apt you take your forms back get your results & get told your treatment plan. Depending on where you are in your cycle you may not actually start treatment until dec/Jan as the lab is shut over Xmas for maintenance. Good luck. X

Hey

If you have two apts on your letter & it says you are at the top of your list then yes you will be starting treatment. If however there is only one apt time it just them putting you in the list. It all depends what your letter says. I forgot that we had an initial apt way back at the start.
