Cramping after FET

Had my transfer on Tuesday and this morning I’ve woke up with horrible cramps and pinching in my stomach. Feels like bad period pains. Could this be implantation or am I getting carried away?

Also, just wondering but does the day I had my transfer count as day one or is the next day which is day one?

Thanks in advance xx

Try not to over think everything hun. I know that’s so much easier said than done. It could be implantation? Are you using pessaries? Some say they might cause some cramping. I believe day one is the day after transfer. I had my transfer last Friday so today is day 7. I’m sure others know better than me and will confirm that (or correct me🙈)

Are you at home resting today? xx

I feel like I’m already driving myself mad 🙈 Yes I am using pessaries..could be either I guess.

I wish I was but I’m at work which I know it’s going to be a massive struggle today. It is the last place I wanna be.

How are you feeling? Xx

Thank you for your message 😊 Oh I really hope you are right 🤞 I know it could be a number of things but already I’m getting my hopes up which kinda scares me.

How are you doing? Xx

I remember the night of my 5 day transfer I had a sharp cramp that woke me up it was so strong! I understand people say to not read into symptoms but it’s so hard not to. Hope these next few days fly over for you. Such a testing time. I’m good thank you, I’m 13 weeks 5 days and had a really good scan yesterday. Only just starting to feel like I can get my hopes up! Such a hard journey ivf xxxxxxx

Fingers crossed it's implantation xx

It’s the next day. The cramping could indeed be down to the pessaries. I think it’s far too early to tell at this stage, frustratingly. Good luck. Hang in there xx

Hang in there hun it's so hard isn't it. I've now learned to read NOTHING into symptoms. I've had 2 BFNs first one no cramping at all, second one heaps of cramping felt like mild af cramps! Both totally different symptoms but still BFN. Hang in there i know the wait is horrendous! best of luck to you tho hun 🤞🤞🤞😘❤

Looking back I had slight cramping about 5 days post Lh surge like you I thought it might be implantation but seemed early 🤔& again had cramping 3 days before my period ( 12 days post Lh surge) was due but stronger -made me think my period was coming. It didn’t & was implantation cramps! Im sure both times baby was implanting! I’m 11 weeks on Sunday.

It is possible, everyone’s pregnancy will be unique to them.

I really hope yours was implantation.

Good luck with the 2WW- you are pregnant until proven otherwise 😍 xoxo

I’m 7 days after transfer as well and I’ve had mild cramping on & off all week. My clinic called to check up on me and they told me not to worry - they can be a symptom of implantation, the pessaries of periods and there is just no way of telling. My Dr did tell me after my FET that I was likely to have cramps due to the procedure. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry too much at this stage. Good luck!

It’s difficult isn’t it when it could mean a number of things. Google doesn’t help! I feel like I’m already getting my hopes up when I know I shouldn’t.

Good luck to you too x
