Cold after FET

So I had my fet this morning I had a slight sore throat before but now feeling more coldy - worried this is going to effect the chances of implantation - any words of advice or positive stories?

I had this after a transfer and was so worried but it worked!I had such a bad cough I thought I would cough the embryo out 🤣🤣 In my google frenzy at the time I did find research to say it doesn’t affect it and actually some (although not completely proven) that said if your body is fighting a mild infection such as a cold it may even help implantation as your body is too busy with the infection to fight the foreign body of the embryo and let’s it implant (or something similar to this analogy). No idea if this was nonsense on google but it helped calm my nerves so I’m passing it on to you in case it helps you too lol 🥰 good luck xxx

Aw thanks! I have also done the same thing and came to the same conclusion with the unproven theories! I guess there is not a lot I can do and stressing about it won’t help! Eek!

Heya, really random but just wondering what your taking to help with the cold symptoms? Had my transfer on Monday and I’ve had a sore throat since yesterday but wasnt sure what I can/cant take. Everyone in my household is in various stages of a cold and thinking i probably caught it from them even though i tried to stay away.

I took some halls soothers as they are basically sweets not the menthol ones as I read that can be an issue I did however read somewhere that lockets say on the packet suitable during pregnancy - this was after buying the halls soothers!
