hi ladies, I am feeling so lucky to be 14+4 (IVF pregnancy + my only successful transfer, number 4!) but the past week or so I feel very ‘normal’ symptoms have pretty much all disappeared apart from some mild twinges.
Am I right to be anxious about my next scan on Monday or is this normal! I have to add I have recently just weaned off a lot of my drugs too!
My clinic are very thorough and up until 12 weeks I was having scans / blood tests at least once a week so this 3 week wait is killing me!
during my pregnancy my symptoms came and went. There were several times I was worried because I suddenly felt ‘normal’ then a day or two later the symptoms would come back - sometimes worse. I googled it a lot and it seems from forums that it’s completely normal for pregnancy symptoms to come and go x
Hello, Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps.
I had several symptoms between week 7 and week 14 (including severe vomitting with a few trips to the hospital) and then suddenly , I felt pretty normal.
I was really worried that I booked a private scan to make sure everything was okay.
Babies were both fine 🙂 A couple of weeks later, morning sickness was back but not on a regular basis. I am now 24 weeks and I get a break from symptomps for 10 days and then sickness comes back....
I was told by the midwife and twin clinic consultant that from the beginning of the second semester, you should feel a bit more normal. Try and not over think about it. I know easier said than done... I have been there so I totally understand where you are coming from.
