Feel really full and nauseous!

Hello! I’m currently 34 and a half weeks and for the last week or so I’ve felt really full like it feels like I’m fit to burst! When I feel like this I also feel a bit sick like I’ve eaten too much even though I haven’t. Sort of feels like I’ve eaten that much I’ve got food sitting up to my throat (sorry tmi) Is this normal? I’ve also had acid reflux on and off for the last week or 2 😅 Baby is currently weighing 5lbs so not sure if I’m just suffering more as he’s getting bigger!

Hey Ziggy, I am exactly the same at 35 weeks.

Everything I eat seems to make me feel so full.

I had a pizza the other evening and I didn't sleep all night!

I'm only 17 weeks and I started feeling like this this week. My morning sickness has subsidies after 14 weeks but seems to have returned this week... Yesterday I felt sick all day and eventually did throw up. The only thing I can think is that I've got cocky after thinking that morning sickness was over and have been enjoying myself eating all sorts of rich food, and now my body is like "uh, no thanks!" Anyway, sorry this doesn't help at all but I sympathise! Xxx

ohhh ziggy 34wks 😁 well done! I remember that feeling well it’s like indigestion all the time. If your struggling with acid reflux do consider taking something off the doctor I couldn’t of got by without it. It will go when you have the baby though it’s like all symptoms vanish instant lol.xx

Congratulations on getting this far! Your post brings back memories. I certainly went through it and got myself into a pickle several times because I ignored the advice of eating little bit often.

Sometimes I would feel so full that I would have to lie down for an hour or two until some of the food had passed through the stomach. 😵‍💫

However, only a few weeks to go and you will soon be able to eat all you can especially if you are breastfeeding!

All the best x

Hello! I just looked at my pregnancy notes with my son as this totally rang a bell and I felt exactly the same. Also really struggled with heartburn in the last two months. I think a lot of it has to do with all your organs being pushed up and squeezed because baby is putting on a lot of weight in these final weeks. Try and rest when you can and eat little and often and hopefully you will get some relief! Best of luck, you are on the home stretch! x

Hiya I am 33 weeks and have had reflux since week 18. I have been taking omeprazole everyday since as it's the aspirin, which I have to take, making it worse. I can't eat very much at all in any one sitting, I have to eat little bits 4/5 times a day. I can't eat anything fatty and despite being a life long chocolate addict, that makes it really bad. I have had so much sleep deprivation from it and I am regularly sick in my mouth with trying to go to sleep. It's very unpleasant but if I eat very plain food in small amounts it's so much better. Good luck!!
