I can’t comment re cramping but had brown spotting most days until 7ish weeks and then again at 12. Was just told it can be normal if not red blood or in pain (which I completely get but did not find reassuring!)
I have now had 4 scans and going ok so far. No reason given for my spotting. I have seen people on here who did have a little bleed in the womb which can cause it or cervix can too.
Can you call your early pregnancy clinic for advice? They have been wonderful with me despite my anxious ugly crying at them!! They scanned me at 6w.
my clinic told me that they don’t scan early but they did refer me to the EPU who saw me at 6 weeks exactly. Best of luck!
hi noodles, I had a bit of spotting too (7weeks on the dot). I called the EPU and they said if no clots and no tissue not to worry and no need to come in - just to rest and don’t do anything strenuous. Maybe give your EPU a ring? I was amazed how helpful they were.
Hi lovely I had brown spotting as well as some bright red and even a clot! I didn’t ever believe it when people said that was a thing but it actually was with me. I bled from 6 weeks to 11! And all was fine with my little boy 😊xx
Hi, I had spotting brown/beige up until 14 weeks right from my official test day, they put it down to implantation but at 9 weeks they found a hematoma which is really common in ivf pregnancies and causes spotting a lot of the time. So yours could well be that, they said to me brown/beige is a good sign normally but obviously it’s very worrying x
Thanks to you all for taking time taking reply. This forum is such a source of strength to me ❤️🙏🏻
No spotting since, but low cramps are constant & I had a massive night sweat last night which is a regular monthly sign my period is on the way. I’ll call clinic this morning.
I had a heavy bleed at 5+5 and spotting until 13 weeks ish. Another heavy bleed at 9 weeks with a few clots. Super scary but all ok and I’m now 15 weeks.
Apparently bleeding/spotting is more common in ivf pregnancies!
Always best to call for advice but I had fairly bad cramping too, was seen at the EPU at 6 weeks! X
