Anyone else experience nose bleeds and any advice on how to stop one coming? I ask as I have had a few in at the worst possible times recently, one while managing hearing were I could not get up from my seat (I work in a court) and one just now on a bus had no tissues so had to use a glove and recipient to clean myself up!

Nose bleeds
I've been having frequent nose bleeds since the beginning of pregnancy. It's better now in the 3rd trimestre, it happens only occasionally. I don't have any advice on how to manage it as no one I know has had it in their pregnancies. I've been told by medical professionals that it's normal and nothing to worry about. The worst one I've experienced was in a restaurant 😂. It's annoying that it always happens when we least expect it.
Oh how interesting. I had one for the first time in my life at 13 weeks and just assumed it was because I blew my nose a lot before. Didn't think it might be an increased pregnancy thing - so many sneaky side effects I never knew about. That's so annoying you've had 3 and sorry no idea how to stop one but guess yet more things to carry with you at all times just in case xx
apparently they’re really common. I had nose bleeds in my pregnancy. I don’t remember ever having a nosebleed otherwise.
I had them often and there’s no way to stop them you just have to deal with them. I think I was at a point of getting them once a week and it continued for quite a while. I think it got better in the third trimester but can’t quite remember. Just carry tissues with you at all times.
It is common in pregnancy take a look at nhs.uk Nosebleeds in pregnancy for advice about them
Take care
