Hey all I'm currently 5wks2days and I have all of a sudden got a severe headache. I know this can be normal in early pregnancy but I'm really worrying as last time this happened I miscarried a few days later. As its an IVF pregnancy and I've been taking meds for so long surely that can't be the cause for the headaches?
Has anyone else had severe headaches and had a positive outcome?

Hi HMCW. I would speak to your GP or midwife if you have been assigned one. Need to get your blood pressure checked too. Hopefully, nothing to worry about. Good luck! Diane
I am not an IVF pregnancy - I was on Letrozole pre conception and then progesterone for 14 weeks of pregnancy.
I had migraines with aura/flashing lights almost every day until I stopped the progesterone....
I am 25 weeks now and don't get any.
Xxx
hi lovely
I has migraines in the first trimester and currently holding our two week old. Your hormones are all over the place. Try not to worry but if they persist see GP/Midwife

Hey, I had headache’s early on but thankfully these settled fairly quickly. Hopefully the same will happen for you.x
Thank you all so much for replying. I think because I had a headache before my miscarriage I am associating headaches with that but that was probably just a coincidence rather than a symptom x
