Last day of meds

So today I am 12 weeks and it my last day of meds I have been taking 3 x 200mg of utrogestan pessaries, 1 25mg shot of lubion and 1 35mg shot of Clexane a day. It feels werid just stopping after taking them for long. Even though my stomach is covered in lumps and bruises I am very nervous about just completly stopping. I have a few days of each med left should I keep taking till I've used it all or just stop as per clinics advice?

hi. I know its nerve racking to just stop all the meds at once. I was the same when I was at 9 weeks, clinic told me to stop pessaries, injection and aspirin. I asked them if i can continue taking the meds since I have loads of extras left from a failed cycle. They were happy to make me continue until supplies last but they told me only to continue with pessaries and just stop the rest. At 11 weeks, ive completely stopped everything and my anxiety was on the roof after. But i had my scan at 12 weeks and baby is perfectly healthy, my body produced enough progesterone to support the baby, something i thought my body won't do. Hang in there and just trust your body. You're going to be okay. 😊

Hi StarsAllAround. Yes, I can fuly understand your anxieties. I used to advise to wean off them during the last wek or too. I feel you would be safe to do that with your leftovers for a week if it makes you feel more comfortable. Check with your clinic if you are unsure. Good luck! Diane

hi lovely. I’m 11 weeks and have to start weaning off the pesseries this week. It’s really nerve wracking but I just keep telling myself to trust the clinic as they know what they’re doing. It’s scary but im sure everything will be fine ❤️

Thanks everyone for your replies they have genuinely made me feel less anxious! I think I will use what meds I have left just to feel a little more at ease and also won't be wasting them then 😊 x
