Confused re dates!

Hello everyone.

Can someone please help my confused brain. Today was our OTD and it’s a positive (can’t believe it)!! But clinic said we’re now 4 +3 weeks pregnant! I can’t get to this by looking at our dates below … Google hasn’t helped either.

EC - 27th June

ET - 2nd July with a 5 day blast

OTD - 14th July

How is that 4 weeks pregnant? 🤯

My clinic said for 5day embryos your transfer date basically becomes day 19 of your cycle so 4+3 looks right to me. Congratulations! Hope everything goes smoothly for you x

Thanks Claire…. Already stressing about the 7 week scan and even making it that far! So many hurdles to get over xx

EC is considered 2 weeks pregnant as EC is 'ovulation', which is assumed to be 2 weeks after previous period in a natural cycle (natural pregnancy is dated from the day of your previous period). Today is 2 weeks + 3 days after EC = 4 weeks + 3 days pregnant. xx

Congratulations on your BFP!! As purpledoggy says, you are 2 weeks on the date of your egg collection, so with a day 5 transfer, you were 2+5 on that day xx
