When to test?

Hi everyone.

Had a chemical at the end of Jan, absolutely devastated as we have been trying for over a year. Decided we wouldn’t try for a while because we needed time.

I randomly took a test 2 weeks ago, I don’t know why I just took it because it was the last in the packet so I thought to just use it and get rid. It came up with the slightest, faintest pink line, but I wasn’t sure if it was still a faint positive from the chemical.

Anyways I’ve left it until the time my period is due (was due on yesterday but I have endometriosis so it can vary) so I don’t get caught up in it all. Should I wait another few days so I actually am late or should I test now? I’ve not had any usual signs of coming on my period, but then again I’ve been quite poorly the past week so I may not have picked up on it due to everything else.

I don’t want to start testing again too early so I just wondered if anybody else has had a similar experience and what they did. Thanks x
